ARTCLINE GmbH was founded in 2007 as a spin-off from the University of Rostock. The company is currently working on the development of an extracorporeal immune cell therapy for the treatment of bacterial sepsis. Extensive cell biological, clinical and industrial experience in the field of sepsis diagnosis and therapy help to realize ARTCLINE's vision. The extracorporeal immune cell therapy has demonstrated first positive results in a clinical trial with septic patients.

As one of the German BioRegions BioCon Valley supports the commercial use of modern life sciences and bio- and medical technologies in the region. BioCon Valley´s tasks are networking, managing life science centers (bioincubators),
project management and coordination, and life science specific public relation.
Since 1996 the number of employees at the companies in the region has tripeld to nearly 1.800. BioCon Valley collaborates in strategic partnership to the life science initiatives at the Baltic Sea.

FLD Forum Leberdialyse e.V.
The Forum Liver Dialysis (FLD) is a non profit organisation which is devoted to the development, clinical testing, and monitoring of new blood purification therapies helping patients suffering from multiorgan dysfunction.
